The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a senior system engineer with a track record of developing scripted solutions for IT operational teams. You will be a key member of the team, performing management of the automation & development codebase, contributing towards development standards and delivering new business processes for both internal and customer systems. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, work within an agile framework and have strong organisation and problem-solving skills, whilst also having the ability to assess and prioritise tasks without close supervision.
Our client and international IT Managed Services Company are looking to hire an experienced 3rd Line support engineer to provide remote support to various international customers across Email & Collaboration, Wintel, Virtualisation and Cloud technologies. This is an infrastructure support role and not focused on user/account administration.
The role will take an influential lead in managing change and the implementation of an end user compute technical support team, based on ITIL concepts. The position will ensure an effective approach to the management of all day-to-day desktop activities and escalations, actively working with both the Client management team and various operational teams, assisting in the continual ongoing review and improvements for all services provided. The requirement is for a 24x7 operation with main support hours aligned with US business operational hours. Individuals will work to a rotational, staggered shift pattern.
