Technology & Digital Transformation Manager
This role will suit an entrepreneurial-minded manager looking for a new purpose and opportunity to drive digital transformation across various IT disciplines, including IT governance, risk management, cybersecurity, and cloud services.
As a strategic thinker and problem-solver, you will bridge technology and business, translating IT-related conversations into actionable insights for business leaders. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive digital transformation initiatives across the organisation, leveraging modern technologies to enhance the overall business strategy.
- Manage IT governance, risk & cybersecurity, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the implementation and management of Microsoft Azure cloud services and Microsoft 365 end-user software.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external service providers and cross-departmental teams, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery of IT services.
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating innovation and transformation across the organisation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or National Diploma (NQF6-7) with at least 7 to 10 years of hands-on work-related equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and relevant security operations and compliance management tools.
- Experience with applied methodologies and frameworks, specifically COBIT (governance, risk, or cybersecurity) framework.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal) and ability to convey complex technical concepts understandably.
- Excellent team management skills and high emotional intelligence.
- Experience collaborating with external service providers and cross-departmental teams, with exposure to SLAs outlining standard response times and deliverables.
- Membership/Affiliation to professional bodies (e.g. ISACA) to stay updated with trends and best practices is beneficial
