To project manage medium to large projects and programmes of a single customer of a MSP, as well as provide  support and guidance to the project coordinators and project managers in the PMO where and when necessary.

 

Role Responsibilities:

Customer-specific requirements:

  • Portfolio Management which will include Project Management of key initiatives
  • Integration Management across projects
  • Administration management across the various IT Managers
  • Project Management Process and Governance setup
  • Weekly reporting on Progress of projects
  • Setup of Demand Management process
  • Budget Management to have a clear view of committed vs spent vs budget

 

Experience:

  • 10+ years proven track record experience in project management of ICT projects and programmes
  • Experienced at coordinating and managing all aspects of a portfolio of medium to large, complex, projects and programmes simultaneously

 

Experience of Microsoft applications:

  • Using Microsoft Project
  • Use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Producing project progress reports
  • Ability to follow defined guidelines and processes
  • IT Service Management experience would be beneficial

 

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12
  • Project Management qualification or certification
  • ICT-related qualification or certification (or equivalent work experience)

 

Additional Skills/Attributes:

  • PRINCE2 or PMBOK (Practitioner Level)
  • ITIL exposure and understanding
  • ICT Technical background is essential
