We’re looking for a skilled 3rd Line Engineer to deliver senior-level support and project services to international customers. This role focuses on maintaining stable, secure, and high-performing cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 3rd line incident management: diagnosis, investigation, and resolution.
Support and manage platform infrastructure, ensuring availability, performance, and security.
Work closely with service integrators, 3rd parties, and internal teams to resolve issues.
Maintain clear documentation and configuration data.
Plan and implement changes, patches, and upgrades.
Manage incidents and risks, escalating when necessary.
Identify and suggest service improvements.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ 3rd Line support experience.
Degree in Computer Science (or related).
AZ-800 and AZ-700 certifications.
Strong customer service mindset, analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Willingness to work on weekends.

Desirable:

Microsoft Azure AZ-104 and O365 qualifications.

Technical experience across some of the following is advantageous:

Azure VMware Solution (AVS), Service Fabric, Containers.
Windows Server (2012–2019, Azure) and Active Directory (on-prem & Azure AD).
Microsoft SQL Server, Exchange (2010–2019).
Virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix).
Backups (Veeam), storage (SAN/NAS).
Monitoring tools (OMS, N-able).
Networking (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, Azure NSG/VNETs/VPNs).
PowerShell scripting.
Linux (Ubuntu/RedHat).
VOIP (Cisco Unify).

Out Of Hours (between 19:00pm-07:00am SAST)
