Our client, a UK IT MSP with offices in Cape Town, is looking Azure Platform Engineer to join their managed services team in Cape Town. This is a senior, client-facing role delivering 3rd line support and project work across multiple accounts.

What you’ll be doing:

Providing 3rd line incident management, diagnosis, investigation and resolution, across cloud environments
Delivering technical project implementation work for clients remotely
Working closely with service desk, technical teams and vendors to resolve issues within SLA
Communicating clearly with both internal teams and customers on progress and solutions
Contributing ideas for service improvement and mentoring less experienced team members
Compiling technical documentation and user guides

What you’ll need:

5–10 years’ experience with Windows Server and Active Directory in an enterprise environment
Strong PowerShell scripting ability
Solid hands-on experience across core Azure services: VMs, Key Vaults, Bastion, Azure Policy, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, NSGs, Azure AD, MFA, Conditional Access, Load Balancers, Application Gateways, Backups and Azure Arc
Relevant Azure certifications (Administration, Solutions Architect, Virtual Desktop) advantageous
ITIL Foundation exposure useful
Excellent written and spoken English, with the confidence to manage stakeholders under pressure
A calm, methodical approach to troubleshooting in a fast-paced, high-priority environment
