We are looking for an experienced Platform and Compute Engineer to join digital managed service provider. This role focuses on managing enterprise cloud environments, ensuring high availability of server, storage, network, and hypervisor systems. You’ll handle incidents, change requests, and maintenance while working closely with technical teams to support infrastructure projects and service improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and support enterprise cloud, private cloud, and managed service environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, escalating as needed.
Perform routine maintenance, failover testing, and system monitoring.
Implement best practices for server, storage, and virtualization technologies.
Support change management and assist with new technology deployments.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 support when required.

Technical Skills & Experience:

Essential:

Virtualization: VMware vSphere 6.x – 7.x, Microsoft Hyper-V
Cloud & Servers: Microsoft Azure IAAS, Windows Server administration, O365/M365
Enterprise Storage: Dell, HPE, IBM, EMC, Huawei, Hitachi
SAN Fabric Switches: Brocade, Cisco
Server Hardware: Dell, HP, IBM

Desirable:

Azure AVD, Synology Storage, Linux administration
VMware SRM, vSphere Replication, vCloud Director
Cisco Nexus Switches, Cisco UCS
Kubernetes, VMware NSX
Scripting (PowerShell, PowerCLI)
Veeam Backup, Commvault

Certifications (Preferred):

Microsoft Azure AZ-104, AZ-305
VMware VCP (VCP-DCV 6.x, 7.x, 8.x)
Huawei Storage (HCIA, HCIP)
NetApp (NCTA, NCDA, NCSE)
ITIL Foundation
