Fantastic opportunity to join an investment management company’s Digital Marketing Team. The Digital Specialist will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to enhance and execute digital marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Media Engagement: Liaise with media and SEO agencies to optimize ongoing and future campaigns, ensuring alignment with business and marketing goals. Identify effective methods to track, adjust, and innovate digital marketing initiatives while maintaining brand consistency.
- Brand and Content Collaboration: Work alongside the Brand and Content Teams to ensure all digital marketing materials meet brand standards in terms of tone, messaging, and quality.
- Tracking and Reporting: Develop, test, and maintain tracking and reporting systems for marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights to various stakeholders. This includes managing and refining reporting mechanisms across different platforms and agencies.
- Website Management: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the public-facing website’s content, features, and functionality, ensuring they cater to client needs. Handle the addition, editing, tracking, and monitoring of campaign-related elements on the site.
- Social Media Management: Stay informed about the content and functionality of the company’s social media channels, assisting in building, tracking, and analysing campaigns while conducting post-campaign assessments. Support the posting, review, and monitoring of content across these platforms.
Additional Requirements
- Strong ability to understand business needs for marketing initiatives.
- Proven experience in planning and evaluating marketing campaigns, including events and thought leadership initiatives.
- Ability to communicate the benefits of digital marketing in enhancing traditional marketing efforts, supporting brand growth, and achieving client acquisition and retention goals.
- Interest in long-term Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI) and generating valuable marketing insights.
- Desire to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of digital marketing campaigns.
Qualifications and Experience
- A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., BA in Marketing, B.Com in Marketing/Economics/Finance, or equivalent). Exceptional candidates with a National Diploma in Marketing and substantial campaign experience will also be considered.
- At least 4 years of experience managing digital marketing campaigns, with comparable experience in business analysis considered.
- Proven track record of strong performance in digital marketing roles.
- Passion for enhancing marketing effectiveness and presenting data-driven insights.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms, including experience with campaign reporting tools.
- Proficiency in Excel or similar spreadsheet applications; knowledge of PowerBI or equivalent tools is a plus.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proactive mindset with a keen interest in digital marketing trends and communication effectiveness.
