Join an international telecommunications company based in Alberton, Gauteng. They are looking to recruit an experienced Data and VOIP order Fulfillment agent to join their team, The job requires the candidate to liaise with carriers and customers to install fibre and broadband in customers premises.
- Arranging calls with the customer to ensure the product they have ordered is correct and suitable for their business needs
- Placing orders with various carriers (dependent on order)
- Updating the customer at key milestones on the progress of their order
- Capture and deal with any bespoke configuration requests
- Dispatch hardware to the client’s premises
- Configure VOIP telephony system for customer
- Assist with configuring the customers router to their needs
- Signing off the projects with the customers to ensure they are happy with the services
Requirements for the job:
- 2 years’ experience with broadband provisioning
- 1 year call centre experience
- 2 years configuring VOIP systems, hosted or on premises PABX
- Customer service experience
- Understanding of LAN environment’s
- Understanding of IP addressing
Nice to haves:
- CompTIA N+
- Any technical VOIP certification
- Any router configuration experience
- Customer Service / Telephony Etiquette training
As the candidate will work primarily for our UK customer base, the hours required to work are:
- Summer: Monday to Friday 10:30 to 19:30
- Winter: hours will be 09:30 – 18:30
