Join a leading company in Cape Town as a Product Manager. To form a key role in the business team and own the product prioritization, feature sets and lifecycle across business area. The position is accountable for the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the assigned set of products.

Experience

Experience and proven success in translating business strategy and analysis into successful consumer products
Prior experience as a product manager working on digital consumer-facing applications; eCommerce and omnichannel experience
Proven track record of successfully launching new mobile product features
Certified Scrum or SAFe product owner or product manager.

Desirable:

General Marketing / Retail Experience (2-3 Years)
Customer User Experience and Product Management (2-3 Years)
Analytics / Big Data Experience (1-2 Years)
Commercial Experience in digital led business development (1-2 Years)

Knowledge and Skills

Ability to influence and engage at an executive level with respect to customer centric product concepts and best practices
Ability to influence diverse teams and get team buy-in on product concepts and objectives
Ability to engage with design and development teams
Advanced digital product customer development (User Experience design, AB Testing etc.)
Strong analytics understanding in digital product management
Advanced information technology management
Understanding of African digital market and customers
Digital Generalist
Strategic Orientation

Qualifications

Bachelor degree/ three year diploma or equivalent experience in commerce, engineering or marketing
Master’s Degree or additional qualification in marketing, business administration, information technology (Desirable)
